Lions or Spiders...

Hi everyone!!! My name is Elle McLaughlin! I am having an amazing time! Kenya is a beautiful country. The safari took my breath away. The bruises and nausea from the car ride were well worth seeing God’s creation in its full glory. We saw so many lionesses with their cubs. I learned that I am fearless while getting close to a lion but when it comes to spiders in my tent, I’m a mess. We screamed so loud that 4 men ended up in our tent, prepared for a lion. After seeing the spiders each of them asked us “you fear the spider?” We both said “yes, we fear the spider.” We are now back at the Home Care retreat and are getting well rested before camp! I can’t wait to meet the campers and other counselors!! At this rate camp will be astonishing.
